Article: The Worst Republican For The Job

Turning a corner and decided that I’m going to start to use the raisin brown and citrus yellow more on the site. Before I just used the yellow as a link color. But since we have so few light colors, I’ve cast that aside. In fact, I just redesigned the covers for the Slate Podcasts with a lot of citrus yellow. It makes them stand out and very modern. We will see how it is received by the readers!

Holly Allen suggested putting a sleeping child asleep on the 15-minute hand of an old-timey clock showing the time 7:15. I added a bit of warm, lit window sunshine to reinforce that this was such an early bedtime that the sun was still out.
